We are looking to recruit an Interim Store Supervisor for our Bristol depot (based in Avonmouth). This role will be covering a period of maternity leave of approximately 12 months. We are looking for a personable, proactive and enthusiastic individual who we be able to support our Store Manager in leading and motivating the team. Could you be the person we are looking for?!

Interim Store Supervisor Hours of Work/Shift Pattern:
This is a full-time position, 42.5 hours per week with either one late evening, Thursday (10.45am to 8.00pm), or Sunday morning 8.45am-1.15pm (rotating each week).
* Supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Store, ensuring it is safe, well presented, clean and organised at all times.
* Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining regular and effective communication with the team.
* Supporting a sales/customer focused environment.
* Assisting in all aspects of stock management.
* Maintaining Health and Safety standards promoting a safe working environment.
* Acting as a key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the Store.
What experience/attributes are we looking for?
* Some experience in the retail/wholesale sectors.
* The ability to manage demanding situations and to meet deadlines.
* The ability to work independently on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
* The ability to work as part of a team and respond flexibly to change.
* To be self-motivated, outgoing, energetic and confident.
* The ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
* To provide professional leadership, encompassing all aspects of people management and development.
* Forklift licence an advantage but not essential as training will be given
