Due to an internal promotion, we now have a super sweet opportunity for a Field Sales Manager (National); a hands on management role which will drive our field sales team to push our digital agenda with our convenience customers and ensures team performance whilst recognising the changing ways our customers want to interact with us.
This is a hybrid role with national travel to both customers and Head Office. You will be on the road 2-3 days a week and will travel to Head Office (Loughborough) once a month. There will be the requirement to stay away from home a couple of times a month and also occasional travel to Scotland & NI.
The role is mainly focused on performance management in the field; monitoring performance and supporting the team to deliver, so we are looking for a talented leader with a natural flair for developing and coaching others.
What will our National Field Sales Manager do?
Just some of the duties will include:
• Manage, motivate, and drive forward the performance of the field sales team, using all tools to maximise future growth
• Exceed budgeted sales and gross margin for the National Field Sales Team
• Drive the marketing product strategy for World of Sweets and Bonds, delivering best in class product range presentations and sell ins to the team and our customers
• Working with Marketing and the Digital team, drive initiatives that maximise conversion and use of the App and Website
• Ensure commercial results are met against the core KPI’s
• Attract, retain, support and develop new customers
• Working with the National Account Managers and supply chain, maintain an accurate product forecast and promotional plan for the field sales team (AYR products, promotions and NPD)
• Working with the National Account Managers, develop profitable customer partnerships, creating win wins for both World of Sweets and the customer
• Prospect, qualify and win profitable new business driving our key brands
