Location: Loughborough/Sutton in Ashfield/Hybrid

Role:

As an Assistant Brand Manager you will support our exciting novelty category and transform playful candy concepts into market-leading products! You’ll help manage some of our award-winning own brands like Sweet Vibes, and collaborate with our brand partners including Vimto. The role sits as part of our super creative, definitely not sickly sweet Marketing team. It’s a key role in helping to shape and drive the World of Sweets product strategy.

Our Head Office (Loughborough) roles come with hybrid working giving you the ability to work 3 days in the office and up to 2 days at home. Please note that one of your office working days will be at our Sutton in Ashfield site.

Your typical working day will include:

This varied role will see you carrying out a number of responsibilities including:
• Brand management ownership with support from the Senior Brand Manager. This will include (where necessary) brand activation, new product development and liaising with cross functional teams to help drive distribution and growth
• Be accountable for collating insight to support brand, product and category sell in to our key customers
• Supporting with sell in presentations for monthly sales team meetings for own brands, licensed and brand partners
• Checking and approving artwork and feeding back to product development team
• Sending out samples to key suppliers and customers
• Leading on communicating product updates to the wider business, including new product releases, stock updates and discontinuations
• Working with cross functional teams to ensure brand awareness, presence and visibility across all business units

Ideal Candidate:

The right person will have as many of the following skills and attributes as possible:
• A Marketing related degree or equivalent
• Some experience in brand and/or product management within a commercially focused FMCG business
• Experience of supporting new brand launches
• Social media marketing would be an advantage
• PowerPoint skills – able to write and tell a story in a highly engaging style
• Canva Design & Photo shop skills, not essential
• Knowledge of BrandBank platform desired but not essential
• Managing multiple projects and stakeholders at any one time
• Resilient and able to cope with a fast-paced agenda
