Location: Manton Wood, Worksop

Role:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to all our customers. The Supervisor will assist and support the Team Leader to manage the day-to-day duties of the team ensuring key product knowledge is delivered, product availability is managed, and service levels and plans are delivered on time and in full.

Main responsibilities:

• To assist the Team Leader in maintaining regular and effective communication within the team and participate or lead in daily briefings.
• To support in creating a customer focused working environment within the warehouse which reflects full, flexible co-operation from the team within the business.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere within the warehouse with employees, encouraging the teams to take pride in their work and focus on delivering high levels of customer service.
• To assist the Team Leader record occasions of poor timekeeping / absence for the team by completing the timesheets ready for the authorising Manager to approve. To support with all new starter paperwork, liaising with HR and Payroll when required.
• Support the Team Leader to effectively manage holidays, agency requirements and sickness to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to manage the day’s work.
• Deal with customer complaints and incidents effectively and in a timely manner, escalating to the Team Leader as and when needed.
• To promote a safe work environment within your team and to lead by example. Ensuring all incidents, accidents and near miss details are reported through to the Team Leader.
